You can terminate Udyog Registration through the following methods:

  • Online Method:
    • Visit the official Udyam Registration portal Udyam Aadhar.
    • Log in using your Udyam Registration Number and registered mobile/email.
    • Navigate to the cancellation option and provide a valid reason for termination.
    • Submit the request, and you will receive a confirmation of the cancellation.
  • Offline Method:
    • Draft a written application requesting the cancellation of your Udyog Registration.

    • Attach supporting documents (such as proof of business closure if applicable).

What is the process for obtaining Udyam registration for a Hindu Undivided Family (HUF)?

The process for obtaining Udyam registration for a Hindu Undivided Family (HUF) is as follows:  

Step 1: Visit the Udyam Registration Portal  

Go to the official Udyam Registration website: [https://udyamregistration.gov.in](https://udyamregistration.gov.in).  

 Step 2: Select For New Entrepreneurs

 Select “New Entrepreneurs who have not yet Registered as MSME” to begin the registration procedure.

Step 3: Enter Aadhaar Details  

Since HUFs are managed by a Karta, enter the Karta’s Aadhaar Number and name as per the Aadhaar card. 

Click on “Verify & Generate OTP” to authenticate the Aadhaar details.

  Step 4: Provide PAN Details  

  Enter the PAN Number of the HUF.  

  Click on Validate PAN  to verify it.  

  Step 5: Fill Business Details  

  Enter the business name and type of organization (Select Hindu Undivided Family – HUF).  

  Provide the business address, mobile number, and email ID.  

  Mention the date of business commencement and the number of employees.  

  Step 6: Enter Investment & Turnover Details  

  Fill in details of investment in plant & machinery or equipment  and annual turnover as per        MSME classification.  

 Step 7: Submit & Generate Udyam Certificate  

 Click on Submit and Get Final OTP for confirmation.  

 After successful verification, your Udyam Registration Certificate will be issued.

  Additional Notes:  

  No registration fee is required.  

  The Udyam Registration Number is permanent.  

  You can download the certificate from the portal after approval.

To check the authenticity of an Udyam Certificate, follow these steps:

Step 1: Visit the Official Udyam Portal

Go to the Udyam Registration website: Udhyam Registration

Step 2: Select ‘Verify Udyam Registration’

On the homepage, click on the ‘Verify Udyam Registration Number’ option.

Step 3: Enter Udyam Registration Number
  • Type in your Udyam Registration Number (URN).
  • Fill in the captcha code displayed on the screen.
Step 4: Submit and Verify
  • Click on the ‘Verify’ button.
  • If the certificate is genuine, the details of the registered business will be displayed.

Alternative Method: Cross-check with the Registered Email

  • The original Udyam Certificate is sent to the registered email ID upon approval.
