MSME registration is a paperless process and does not require uploading of documents. However, the following key details and credentials must be provided:
- Aadhaar Number of the applicant (owner/proprietor/partner/director)
- PAN Number of the business (mandatory for companies, LLPs, etc.)
- Business Name and Type (e.g., Proprietorship, Partnership, Pvt. Ltd., etc.)
- Official Address and Contact Information
- Bank Account Number and IFSC Code
- Nature of Business Activity (NIC Code selection)

The Udyam Registration Certificate is usually issued within a few minutes and is available for download in PDF format from the portal. However, in some cases, due to backend verification or server delays, it may take 1–2 working days.
Applicants can track or re-download their certificate anytime using their URN and registered mobile/email.
