If you register using your Aadhaar, authorities will be able to track your registration process.

After retrieving your URN, you can conveniently download the certificate from the portal.

Visit a Nearby MSME-DI Office:

You may also want to stop by your nearest District Industries Centre (DIC) or MSME Development Institute in person with:

– Aadhaar Card  

– PAN Card  

– Any proof of business registration (GST or, if available, old Udyog Aadhaar)  

– Application or declaration outlining the issue

The Udyam Registration Certificate is granted by the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, to officially classify a business as a Micro, Small, or Medium Enterprise (MSME). Below is a detailed guide on how to apply for and download your Udyam certificate:

Step 1: Visit the Official Portal

Go to the Udyam Registration website:

Step 2: Aadhaar-Based Registration

For:

  • Proprietorship: Provide the Aadhaar number of the proprietor.
  • Partnership: Submit the Aadhaar number of any partner.
  • Company/LLP: Include the Aadhaar number of an authorized signatory.

You will also need:

  • PAN Number
  • GSTIN (if applicable)

Step 3: Fill the Online Form

Provide the following:

  • – Validation of Aadhaar and PAN
  • – Business Name and Address
  • – Organization Type (Proprietorship, LLP, etc.)
  • – Banking Information
  • – Type of Activity (Manufacturing or Services)
  • – Total Employee Count
  • – Investment in Plant & Machinery/Equipment
  • – Annual Turnover

Step 4: OTP Verification

  • You’ll receive an OTP on the Aadhaar-linked mobile number.

  • Once your registration is completed successfully, you will be issued a Udyam Registration Number (URN).
